Pace Committed to Gathering Constituent Feedback with Charity Navigator

Charity Navigator, the world's largest evaluator of nonprofits, has announced the release new tools that help in determining whether nonprofit organizations engage in constituent feedback practices with their program beneficiaries and other stakeholders. These tools provide the millions of donors that utilize Charity Navigator ratings annually with insight into how nonprofit organizations like Pace Center for Girls listen to and act upon building relationships with their donors, funders, program beneficiaries, and partners.

Investing in Women and Girls Creates Long-Term Benefits

Fifteen years ago, the Community Foundation of North Central Florida’s Board of Directors recognized the connection between the well-being and success of women and that of their communities, and launched the first Women’s Giving Circle in the Gainesville area. What started as an idea 15 years ago has attracted more than 200 local women and made possible more than $1 million in grants to 40 local nonprofits, ranging from the Pace Center for Girls, Peaceful Paths, Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, Displaced Homemakers and so many more.
Pace Lee Teacher Receives Grant for Innovative Teaching

State Farm recently announced that four Lee County teachers are receiving a boost towards their innovative teaching methods as recipients of State Farm Teacher Assist program grants. The local grantees are Marion Eidem, Pace Center for Girls; Anna Haag, Trafalgar Middle School; Dianna Quay, Cape Coral High School; and Joy Williams, North Fort Myers High School. Each of their schools will receive $2,500 to implement their innovative ideas. 
Pace Alachua Receives McDonald's Golden Grant

Several schools and community organizations in northern Florida and southern Georgia, including Pace Center for Girls Alachua, have been awarded a McDonald's Golden Grant. Pace Alachua will receive $5,000 as part of the grant. The McDonald's Golden Grants program was created to celebrate educators and programs dedicated to enriching the lives of the youth.
Pace Alachua Teacher Recognized as a Hometown Hero

Dr. Amarene Chandler was recently recognized by WCJB for her work as a teacher at Pace Alachua. Dr. Chandler sees Pace as a place to give back to the girls who need it the most.
