Stories of Success

Meet Ja'naye

If you had asked me five years ago where I’d be, I wouldn’t have said “graduating early.” I probably wouldn’t have said “graduating” at all. When the pandemic hit, the world stopped just as I needed it to keep going. I was already struggling with school, anxiety, and finding my place in a house with seven siblings. Graduating proves stories don’t end where they break. With the support of Pace, I found a new path forward. Kids like me—kids from loud, loving, all-over-the-place families—can do hard things. We can be first, and we can be the example for those who follow.
