Pace Center for Girls Manatee, located in Bradenton, Florida, is part of a network of 21 centers that have served more than 40,000 since 1985. Our academic classes are aligned with the local public school district, ensuring girls stay on track academically. Girls have the opportunity to catch up on credits if needed. Our Pace Day and Pace Reach programs are offered at no cost to families, and we offer year-round enrollment.
Pace Manatee opened in 1989, serving girls throughout Manatee County. We partner with a variety of community agencies to provide girls with a multitude of resources to best meet their development and social service needs.

Meet Carmen
In 2016, I convinced my mom to enroll me at Pace. My goal was to graduate from high school but that dream felt out of reach. I’d always had the academic ability, but I had stopped going to school because of severe panic attacks. At Pace, I was finally able to get back on track in a supportive environment where I received the counseling I needed to overcome my anxiety. After graduating, I continued my education and graduated from USF with a degree in criminology. I will always be so grateful for the support they gave me — and still do.
