Government Affairs

Pace Center for Girls advocates for legislation that develops comprehensive systems of care for girls at risk of delinquency and sexual exploitation; provides access to comprehensive wrap-around services, including well-being and mental health; and removes barriers to education and employment for girls.

Pace partners with federal, state, and local governments to provide holistic delinquency prevention and early intervention model that diverts girls from the costly system's involvement and guides them toward a path to success at home, in school, and in their communities, and decreases the cost to taxpayers.

Issues We Support

  • Increased access to gender-responsive prevention and mental health services.

  • Juvenile justice reform focused on providing alternatives to arrest and decreasing racial/ethnic disparity.

  • Education reform focused on increased flexibility for students and access to suicide prevention & substance abuse services in schools.

Connect With Pace

Pace looks forward to sharing with legislators how we impact girls in your community and welcomes the opportunity to connect about our programs.

Pace Day at the Capitol

Pace Day at the Capitol is an annual that brings Pace girls, leadership, and team members together to advocate for Pace and all girls. This annual event provides girls with the opportunity to meet with elected officials and use their voice to advocate for themselves and all girls.
