At the beginning of August, over 140 dedicated team members from Pace centers across Florida gathered in Tampa for the 2025 Pace Summer Academy—an inspiring three days of professional learning, collaboration, and celebration designed to get everyone readh for another great school year. Funded through Department of Education earmarks and held in partnership with Miami Dade College, this annual event is a cornerstone of our commitment to advancing impact through connection, care, and competence.

The Academy brought together educators, social service professionals, and leaders for a dynamic series of keynote presentations and breakout sessions designed to deepen trauma-informed, strength-based, and girl-centered practices. With a theme of Pace-ing Forward, the Academy honored the dedication of our staff and invested in their continued growth as champions for the girls we serve. Keynote speakers inspired attendees to reconnect with their purpose, embrace restorative practices, and lead with resilience and vision. From fostering belonging and accountability in schools to modeling purpose-driven leadership and perseverance, each speaker offered powerful insights that energized and empowered our team.

This event was designed and coordinated by Pace team members, including Executive Directors from Pace Hernando, Jacksonville, Leon, Pasco, and Pinellas, alongside our Academic Professional Development Team. Their thoughtful design ensured that every session was rooted in connection, collaboration, and care.

Whether attendees came to learn, lead, or simply connect, the Academy reaffirmed a powerful truth: our people are the reason Pace works. The impact our team members make everyday ripples far beyond classrooms and offices—transforming lives and shaping futures.
