Pace Center for Girls, Jacksonville<\/a> celebrated the opening of its new library with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The library was created by a women-led team, including the designer, construction leadership, and furniture procurement, and features over 3,000 books for Pace girls. It will also host a book club to foster literacy, connection, and confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library was made possible through the generous support of the Elaine Stallings Foundation<\/a> and honors the late Elaine Stallings, a lifelong advocate for reading and founder of The Book Exchange, a bi-annual literary event she hosted for 24 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event coincided with Women\u2019s History Month and Pace\u2019s Believing in Girls Month, highlighting women\u2019s leadership in our community and the importance of creating spaces that support girls\u2019 growth and opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
