Hillsborough 14-year-old shines at Pace Center for Girls

We invite you to meet 14-year-old Lyra and hear her inspiring story. Lyra's journey hasn't been easy. She's wise beyond her years, gifted, and highly intelligent — so much so that she struggled to make connections with students her own age. Even with some adults.
Lyra found her voice at Pace and has become an advocate, not only for herself but for others as a member of the Juvenile Justice Circuit Advisory Board.
