First Coast Healthiest Companies Awards Pace Fit Program Platinum Award

Pace Center for Girls, Pace Fit wellness program, has taken home the First Coast Healthiest Companies Platinum Level award for the second year in a row. The Platinum level award presented virtually on May 3, 2021, is the highest level of wellness recognition for local organizations in the North Florida area.

The Pace Fit program launched in 2017 as a commitment to holistically support and encourage employee health.  Since the program’s inception, Pace Fit has received one Gold and two Platinum level awards for our holistic wellness program featuring monthly health-based challenges, educational sessions, use of Humana’s Go365 platform, annual biometric screenings, EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs), and incentives for accomplishing challenge goals. This wellness suite is in addition to our robust benefits package, including insurance. Every Pace team member is eligible to enjoy the resources of Pace Fit on their very first day of work, including Go365.

The Go365 app is one of the major benefits of the Pace wellness program. More than just a fitness tracker, the platform provides opportunities to understand lifestyle choices, participate in fitness and wellness challenges, and earn points for taking care of your health. Points translate into Gobucks, which allow members to earn gift cards and wellness merchandise. In addition to the app, the Pace Fit program creates monthly challenges to encourage mindfulness, healthy eating, fitness habits, and the joy of praising teammates. Finally, even if team members do not elect Pace Fit benefits, all staff are eligible for the EAP program. The EAP offers 24/7 registered nurse’s advice for those team members enrolled in one of Pace’s medical plans. For all team members legal advice, counseling, and financial counsel is available.

Pace Fit is committed to providing opportunities for our employees’ health and wellbeing. We believe that investing in the holistic needs of our team creates a better life balance, and they, in turn, can help provide the best outcomes for the girls we serve.
