Volunteer
Pace offers several ways to support our girls individually or as an organization. You can lend your time and talents to supporting Pace and our girls in a number of meaningful ways, from direct service to our girls to helping raise funds to support our programs to special projects to transform the spaces where girls learn and grow. Each of our centers has specific needs and partners with volunteers and interns in a variety of ways.
Anyone over the age of 18 can become a Volunteer, Intern, Ambassador, or Community Partner with Pace at one of our 21 communities across Florida.
Direct Care to Girls or Pace Programs
Volunteers, Interns & Organizational Partners
Anyone having direct contact with our girls or is on Pace property during school hours are considered direct care volunteers or interns.
The safety and security of our girls are of the utmost importance. All volunteers, interns, and organizational partners working directly with our girls or at a Pace center on a regular basis must be background screened, fully trained, and CPR/First Aid/AED certified and be willing to pay the associated costs.
Each Center has different needs at different times, so please contact your local center before applying.
For Volunteers
Volunteers are individuals wishing to donate their time and talents to a local Pace center on a regular basis. Opportunities vary by location, so please reach out to the location closest to you on the drop-down above to see how you can participate. The onboarding process for volunteers can take up to one month.
For Interns
Internships are unpaid. Applicants must first talk with their school advisor before completing an application with Pace. Please see your school advisor to begin the intern application process.
Interns should apply at least two months in advance of their estimated start date, to ensure completion of the onboarding process.
For Organizational Partners
Individuals who are working with an organizational partner or organizations that have an agreement with Pace to provide direct services to our girls on a regular basis. The onboarding process can take a month or more.

Collaborative Services/Speakers, Ambassadors & Partners
The following opportunities provide ways to get involved with Pace in a limited capacity. This includes one-time speaking/workshop opportunities, helping with events, raising funds and awareness, or sponsoring a special project with your company or civic organization.

We are open to guest speakers or other collaborative partners helping with special projects, career fairs, and other support. For those looking for a limited partnership, please reach out directly to your closest center to learn more about opportunities and requirements.

Individual Ambassadors
As an individual ambassador, you play a vital role in supporting our girls. From hosting a small event or creating a third-party event to being an active advocate by sharing our newsletters, events, and social posts, you help support our mission and our girls.

Corporate, Civic, and Business Partners
There are many ways to get involved as a group to support Pace's programs and girls. From a single-day refresh to a room or outdoor area of a Pace Center to providing subject matter experts to speak to our girls or team members, to partnering on a work or educational initiative for our girls, we welcome the partnership of our greater community.
