Girl Time! PDF Print

OCALA, FL (3/6/10) –It’s no secret that women, young or old, need to time to talk and bond with other women. Earlier this month the Junior League of Ocala spent some high-quality ‘girl time’ with our PACE Marion girls. Members treated some PACE students to bowling and lunch.

“It was great to hear about the opportunities that are available to me by the Junior League members sharing their life experiences with us,” Said Destiny C., age 15.

Many of the girls in the PACE program are struggling in school and at home. The opportunity to connect with other positive women in the community while at the same time enjoy some fun ‘down time’ is a real treat.

Thank you Junior League for reaching out to hurting young women!
