Local businesses recruit their employees to participate in United Way’s annual Day of Caring. This year CenterState Bank partnered with PACE Marion and helped us organize academic records, paint offices, clean and complete some projects there never seem to be enough staff or time for.

“It was really nice that CenterState Bank came to help us. It makes a really big difference for our center,” said Jessica R., age 16.

It is estimated that volunteer projects would have cost PACE over $1,000. Thank you CenterState Bank for dedicating your time to help adolescent at-risk girls in our community!

PACE Center for Girls is a non-residential, gender-specific program for girls ages 12-18, who are experiencing difficulty or conflict in school and at home. PACE’s purpose is to intervene and prevent high school drop-outs, juvenile delinquency, teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction and welfare dependency. PACE promotes and enables young women to complete their education, build self-esteem, and develop personal, social and family relationship skills.
