About Pace Pinellas

Pace Center for Girls Pinellas, located in Pinellas Park, Florida, opened in 1997. Since that time, Pace Pinellas has served more than 1,500 girls from Pinellas County through our academic Day Program and Pace Reach programs.

Akeeliah's Story

"I’m Akeeliah, I’m 15 years old and in the 10^th grade. I’m in the Girls Leadership Council for Pace Pinellas. I just recently went to the Girls Leadership Institute at the National Office, and I look forward to sharing new ideas with my peers at Pace. The program has helped me to work at my own pace and reach my potential in school. The staff here motivate me to reach my academic goals and believe in myself. When I graduate, I plan to go to college, study entrepreneurship, and have my own clothing line."
