Our pre-IMPACT vision of 7 classrooms with complete computer labs, creating an interactive exciting, engaging learning environment is being realized.

90% of our girls come to us a minimum of 2 years behind academically, In the 9 -10 months we have with them we want them to learn to learn, and to increase their skills and knowledge as quickly as possible. 

As Kindergartners, our students began using computers for learning.

Technology in education is standard.  With our Impact grant we have been able to provide our students the same resources available in other schools, and give them the best chance possible for success. 

When I asked our girls about the new technology they say they like the control over their learning and the opportunity to practice concepts repeatedly until they get them right.  Feeling in control of their learning leads to a sense of personal empowerment, and that's what it's all about.  

In October we plan to get our 2 - 6 PM after school program off the ground.  This will provide those students who are 2 years behind, or that need GED practice or job readiness skills many more opportunities for success. 

Power up PACE. A total technological upgrade of this magnitude would never be possible with out a gift of this size.
