On May 6th, 2013, the President and CEO of Achieve3000 awarded the literacy achievements made by students in the Pinellas County School District. The ceremony was held at Pinellas Park High School. Three PACE girls (Kayla Taylor, La’Kayla Hancock, and Taylor Natale) were honored for having increased their lexile scores by at least 75 percent.
Achieve3000 provides differentiated online instruction to enable significant reading growth, which is especially important to meet the increased demands of the Common Core State Standards.
PACE is seeing an increased enthusiasm towards Science projects & learning, that led to the creation of our first ever, PACE Ocean Science Team. PACE recently had 6 girls participate in the National Ocean Science Bowl. NOSB is a national academic competition that challenges high school students in marine science knowledge including topics such as: marine biology, chemistry, physics and geology. Our team competed against 13 other schools from the South Florida region in the Spoonbill Bowl on the USF St Petersburg campus in February 2013. Way to go Science Team!

Wisdom, Courage, Honor, Friendship and Respect is what comes in life in many different ways, but here in this place I found it all. What place? You may ask that one place is called PACE.
See I'm a new student at PACE and I thought that I wasn't going to fit in with the rest but it turns out I do. I'm here for many reason's like for example I skipped school for almost two months and I thought to my self why bother to keep trying I'm gonna fail anyways. Well it turns out that because I came to PACE I just might pass and go on to my senior year.
Take any major North-South highway to Park Blvd. At 55th Street (Church's Chicken is at the corner), turn south, then take the first right - PACE fronts the alleyway located 1/2 block south of Park Blvd.
Are you a member or program chair of a group? We would be happy to host a special "Believing in Girls" program and tour here at our center for your group, or we can bring our program to your meeting location. Please call or e-mail Carla with your information.
