PACE held the "Saved by Grace" luncheon
March 10, 2012. Room Nearly 115, mostly women ,attended the 4th annual event which was held at Upper Room Church of God in Christ. Four local African American women were recognized as "unsung heroines" for thier dedication to changing the lives of young women, benefitting PACE Center for Girls, Alachua. The women that received the awards are: Annie McKoy, Barbara Sharpe, Pastor Laura Newsome and Ardre Orie. These are four spectacular women that give back endlessly to our community. Thank you to all that participated and made this such a special event.

April 27, 2012 marked the date for the 13th Annual Mary Wise Scramble Presented by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. This year's tournament turned out to once again be a beautiful, sunny day with both flights being filled. It was a day with fun, excitement and wonderful comraderie enjoyed by all. This tournament was a great success thanks to all that took part. Thank you to all of the generous individuals, sponsors, auction and gift donors, players, committee members, board members, staff anf volunteers whose contributions made this event possible. April 26th, 2013.

Saturday September 8, 2012 we held our Second Annual Love That Dress! event and it was once again a big success. This year's event was even bigger and better than last year. We were able to increase our revenue despite the Gators playing football. Love That Dress! is a community wide fundraiser that provides Gainesville area residents the opportunity to buy new or gently used dresses and accessoreis at bargain prices, donated by fellow community members and businesses, while making connections and lasting friendships in a fun and exciting environment.
Thank you to all our many event sponsors for the cash as well as in-kind donations. Thank you to all the committee members, board members, staff , volunteers and businesses, both at the event as well as those that donated clothing and accessories to our event, and had collection parties. Every one of you made this event possbile...Thank You All!
