The PACE Reach Counseling Center provides (at no cost) a community based, gender specific, counseling service to pre-teen and teen girls (ages 8-17) who reside in Broward County.

GOALS OF PACE REACH:

  • Reduce risk factors related to violence, delinquency, teen pregnancy, academic failure and running away.
  • Prevent and reduce substance abuse usage.
  • Bolster coping and communication skills, develop positive behavioral changes and decision making skills.
  • Assist in developing positive self image and increase self-esteem.
  • Improve academic functioning.
  • Prevent and /or reduce involvement in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

COUNSELING SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Individual, family and group counseling
  • Assessments
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Home visits
  • Substanse abuse prevention
  • Juvenile diversion / prevention services

PACE Reach Counseling Center is funded by the 2009 Recovery Act, under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and administered by the United Way Broward County Commission on Substance Abuse.

PACE Center for Girls Broward is a community based, gender responsive prevention, diversion and early intervention program serving adolscent girls.  PACE's successful holistic model integrating the six domains of a girl (physical, emotional, intellectual, relational, spirtual and sexual has been nationally recognized for helping girls find success in school, with their families and their communities.  Located at 2225 N. Andrews Avenue in Wilton Manors, Florida.
