Development Assistant
Position Summary: To assist the Executive
Director in Board relations, public relations within the community,
grant management, volunteer coordination and development of the program
through fundraising and donor cultivation. The expectation is that
the candidate will maximize volunteer involvement and promote the program
through special; events and other external sources.
Responsibilities: Champion legislative
matters impacting the Center; provide advocacy throughout the community
through the cultivation of networking opportunities and donor relationships;
provide data analysis and information tracking; spokesperson for Center
awareness and creation of strong partnerships; report preparation in
accordance with State Board approval, Program Policies, and approved
Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree,
plus 1-2 years fundraising experience is a plus. Must have excellent
presentation skills and above average communication skills.
